Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Our approach
We want every family to commit with confidence. This policy explains exactly what is refunded if plans change. It applies to all four diplomas and is printed in your written admission offer. Last updated: 15 October 2026.
Seat Reservation Amount (₹5,000)
The ₹5,000 Seat Reservation Amount is taken only after counselling and your written offer. It holds your seat in the named batch and is adjusted in full against your first instalment.
It is refunded in full if Meridian cancels or postpones the batch by more than 30 days, if you are found ineligible, or if you cancel within 7 days of paying and before the batch starts. After that it is not refundable, because your seat was held for you.
If you withdraw
15 or more days before the batch starts: everything you have paid is refunded, minus the ₹5,000 reservation.
Less than 15 days before the start, up to 7 days after classes begin: 50% of Instalment 1 is refunded, plus any later instalment paid in advance.
More than 7 days after classes begin: the current instalment is not refunded. You are never asked to pay instalments for terms you will not attend, and any later instalment paid in advance is refunded in full.
If Meridian cancels
If Meridian cancels a programme or batch, you receive a 100% refund of everything paid, or a free transfer to the next batch, whichever you choose.
Third-party costs
For Hotel & Cruise Operations, amounts already paid to outside providers for medical and safety-training components are deducted at actual cost, with receipts shown to you.
How to request a refund
The student, or a parent or guardian for a student under 18, sends a written request by email to meridianinternationalcollege26@gmail.com or on WhatsApp from the registered number to +91 78429 39766. Approved refunds are paid within 15 working days to the original payment method. Where fees were paid through an education loan or EMI, the refund goes to the lender first. GST is refunded or adjusted as the GST rules allow.
Misconduct
A student removed for serious misconduct under the student code signed at admission does not receive a refund of the current instalment. Later instalments are not charged.
